Q: Do you have a nickname?
“Court.”

Q: When and why did you first become interested in gymnastics?
“I started in 2006, when I was about 4 years-old, and I just remember loving to flip around.”

Q: Do you have any good/funny memories from when you first started taking gymnastics classes?
“When I was younger, every time I did a full-turn, I would split the beam.”

Q: When did you decide you wanted to compete? What about competition appeals to you?
“It was my coaches who told me I was ready. I enjoy winning awards.”

Q: What is your training regimen? Was that a big change when you made the switch to competitive gymnastics?
“I train Monday through Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.”

Q: What is your favorite event?
“Floor.”

Q: What is your favorite skill?
“Side-somi on the beam.”

Q: What music do you use for your floor routine?
“Bom Bom by Sam and the Womp.”

Q: Who is your favorite gymnast or who is your “idol”?
“My favorite gymnast is Shawn Johnson.”

Q: How have you grown as a gymnast during your career, both skill wise and mentally?
“I have become stronger, more focused and more flexible.”

Q: How has gymnastics helped you as a person?
“It has helped me be more outgoing.”

Q: If you had to select one life-lesson that gymnastics has taught you, what would it be?
“The value of teamwork.”

Q: What are your biggest accomplishments or best memories in your career?
“Qualifying for the Nastia Liukin Cup.”

Q: Do you want to compete in collegiate gymnastics?
“Yes.”

Q: What are your favorite subjects in school?
“Math, science, and art.”

Q: If you plan to go to college, do you know what you want to study there?
“I would like to study business management.”

Q: What are your goals for the future, both as an athlete and after you are finished competing?
“My goals are to become elite level and to complete at the collegate level.”

Q: When you’re not in the gym, how do you enjoy spending your time? Do you have any hobbies or favorite activities?
“One of my favorite activities is baking.”

“My dad did gymnastics and both of my brothers play baseball.”

“Nope.”

“I enjoy listening to pop music.”

“Powerful, energetic, and determined.”
