Q: Do you have any good/funny memories from when you first started taking gymnastics classes?
A:
I was doing my beam routine at a Level 8 meet and started dancing to the floor music that was playing.

Q: What about competition appeals to you?
A:
I like showing everyone my gymnastics. Ultimately, you just have to have fun with it.

It is a tie between beam and floor. I love to dance, and I like to have fun during floor. I’m always dancing in the gym.

My beam dismount, two back handsprings to a double back. I like the difficulty of the element, and I think its really cool.

Hernando’s Hideaway.

Dominique Dawes because she was super original.

When you are under pressure to breathe, to relax and stay positive.

Going to nationals twice, being on the national team and getting a double layout on floor.

High School Musical is my favorite movie. I know all the songs and all of the dances.

Q: What is your favorite music group or artist?

Beyoncé because she is the queen.

Q: Do you have any competition rituals? Lucky charms?
A:
I have to eat pasta, and I listen to music before I compete. I wear the same hair bow, shoes, and perfume to every meet.
