Kamila Pawlak (Melissa, Texas/Metroplex Gymnastics) topped the junior field at the 2022 Nastia Liukin Cup Friday at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, while Jamison Sears (Yorktown, Va./World Class Gymnastics) took the senior title.

Fields set for Friday’s Nastia Liukin Cup and Saturday’s Elite Team Cup Presented by TURN

The fields are set for the 2022 Elite Team Cup Presented by TURN and 13th-annual Nastia Liukin Cup, which are being held this weekend at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, in conjunction with the 2022 Winter Cup Presented by OZONE and TURN.

Final four Nastia Liukin Cup qualifiers round out 2022 field

The 2022 Nastia Liukin Cup field is set after the final four qualifiers claimed their spots over the weekend. In all, 20 junior and 20 senior USA Gymnastics Women’s Development Program Level 10 gymnasts have earned the opportunity to compete through performances at 20 qualifying invitationals held around the country over the last seven weeks.

USA Gymnastics announced Tuesday that longtime U.S. National Team members Sam Mikulak and MyKayla Skinner will serve as in-venue hosts for the 2022 Winter Cup, presented by OZONE and TURN, Elite Team Cup, presented by TURN, and Nastia Liukin Cup February 25-27 in Frisco, Texas.

Another eight gymnasts punch tickets to 2022 Nastia Liukin Cup

Only six vacancies remain in the 2022 Nastia Liukin Cup field after eight gymnasts secured their spots this weekend. In total, 40 USA Gymnastics Women’s Development Program athletes – 20 juniors and 20 seniors – will compete Friday, February 25 at Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas.
