Q: When and why did you first become interested in gymnastics?
A: When I was 3 my mom put me in gymnastics because I kept flipping all over the couch.

Q: Do you have any good/funny memories from when you first started taking gymnastics classes?
A: When I was little, I got upset at a meet when I received a blue ribbon instead of a pink ribbon. The blue ribbon was better, but I wanted a pink one.

Q: What about competition appeals to you?
A: I love the energy I get from my teammates during competition. They are always cheering, and it’s such a great environment.

Q: What is your training regimen? Was that a big change when you made the switch to competitive gymnastics?
A: I train 24 hours a week.

Q: What is your favorite event?
A: Floor – I love to tumble.

Q: What is your favorite skill?
A: Full-out.

Q: Who is your favorite gymnast or who is your “idol”?
A: I’ve always looked up to Brianna Brown because she is such a great role model.

Q: How have you grown as a gymnast during your career, both skill wise and mentally?
A: It’s made me a hard worker, and I’ve become a better leader.

Q: If you had to select one life-lesson that gymnastics has taught you, what would it be?
A: Never give up!

Q: What are your biggest accomplishments or best memories in your career?
A: Making it to Nastia Cup and Junior Olympic Nationals.

Q: Do you want to compete in collegiate gymnastics?
A: Yes, I’m verbally committed LSU.

Q: What are your favorite subjects, etc.?
A: Photography and art

Q: When you’re not in the gym, how do you enjoy spending your time? Do you have any hobbies or favorite activities? Charities?
A: I love to hang out with my family and my friends and watch movies.

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Waffles or strawberries

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Hunger Games

Q: Are any of your family members current or former athletes? Which sports?
A: My brother plays football and my other brother plays golf. Also, my dad used to play baseball in college.

Q: If you had to pick 3 words to describe yourself as a gymnast, what are they?
A: Energetic determined and hard working

Q: What 3 words describe you as a person, not the gymnast?
A: Outgoing, loyal and funny
